Ohemmaa is Twi for Queen. The Ohemmaa bib neckpiece is made from beautiful glass pearls fit for a Queen. The Ohemmaa piece is inspired by the West African tradition of beading. The pink colour used in the Ohemmaa piece signifies care, beauty, love and kindness. The bead layout of this piece, a big stone followed by three smaller stones, symbolizes beautiful attributes of women in their communities: a nurturing spirit, a giving spirit and a loving spirit.
